I Fell In Love At First Sight
I work at a small shop and once this person walked in. I honest to goodness could not tell whether they were male or female. They had a fairly masculine haircut and an androgenous face but I may have seen a smidge of eyeshadow when they came up to the register. It might have been a really butch female, who knows? I'm attracted to guys and this person looked enough like a guy for me to mentally call them a "he".
Anyway, as soon as "he" walked in he flashed a friendly grin and I instantly was hooked. Then when he came up to the counter he had like an alto/tenor voice (which makes me think it may have been a female or a transgender person) and it was like music to my ears. He laughed and I proceeded to die.
Honestly, it's weird because I've ever felt that way about a stranger before. I had butterflies and all that, and it was amazing. I know I'll probably never see that person again but I don't think I'll ever forget them. It may not have been love but it was something.
