I Snore

And I Am Looking To Correct This... Doing some investigation into this issue which is a wide problem for both men and some women, yea girls don't kid yourselves you snore too, maybe not as bad a your guy/hubby but you snore also.

Looking into the pillars procedure and so far everything that I am reading dates from 2005, there is nothing past 2009 although there is a whole company that specializes in the procedure and they have been featured on "The Dr.s" and other programs.

My question here is - Has anyone done any kind of procedure or thing to try to reduce or stop the snore?  yes there are the breathing things and the nose strips and herbs and such none of which helps me.

I'm am looking for people that have had it done and what were the results?  Also about how much?  Did it last?

I know this is going to sound ridiculous but hearing a man snore is a sense of comfort for me. Dad, brother and EX husband all snored......loudly. Even when M was little and her Dad would be gone, she would nudge me and say it was hard for her to fall asleep because it was too quiet in the house. LOL!! Think she's outgrown that.

Have you done the sleep study to see if you have sleep apnea first? It's not sexy but maybe you just need one of those breathing machines to sleep.

An easier option would be to offer your partner earplugs to use when you both sleep.

She wears some fantastic ear plugs now and it is okay but still would like not to snore.... Think I have been woken up on a plane cause I snored... LOL!!!

Guess if it is your "sound machine" that helps you sleep.. Wish others thought of it that way... LOL!!!

Don't get carried away. Snoring doesn't help me sleep. Doesn't keep me from sleep either. Just use to it. It's all I know. Well actually now that its only me and the lil one...it's quite peaceful here. But I don't know if you recall, I use to put the phone down next to me when a certain friend use to fall asleep and snore himself into some deep zzzzzz's. Hearing him snore soothed me when I was an emotional mess.

Losing weight helps and the sleeping position, mtvlm. Better to sleep on your side;) Good luck.

Already sleep on my side for the most part, and trying to lose the weight, but not sure if it is going to fix it...
