Well now that age is making a difference in my life I’d say I’m at my limit with 10 1/2 years. I’m starting to panic that I’m gonna be a caregiver for the next 20 years between my mom and husband when this time of my life should finally be about me. Just being honest.

@Keepitsimple One can end up being caregiver even when you are the same age. I think you need to find a way to enjoy your time the best you can at anytime of your life. I guess my point is the older partner could end up caring for the younger as well. Try to find a way to enjoy every day you are given.
I know, easier said than done.

@bowman81 Thats very true and I’m just living the dream until things change but there’s not a big age gap between my mom and my husband so I know I will be busy eventually. I’d at least like to do some traveling before that time comes.
