I Believe Light Can Win Darkness

I can win this game, life. My fiance has fallen into depression. The same depression that ate me.

When your bosses don't value you, when someone sits across from you, less qualified, lower outputs, paid higher than you. Year after year. That hurts. Then you're asked to take on more responsibility. Owch.

I dealt with it by addiction, not cleaning, but cooking and spending as much money as I had access to on mountain bikes and driving to see my girl (same girl as now).

Well I broke it today. I realised it's not about the issues at hand. Life is bigger than the issues at hand - that's how we get through. We spend time focusing on the great things around us. Then the issues automatically become smaller. Less powerful. People enter our lives into those positives, and share them with us. The positives gain power exponentially.

Life becomes good. One small baby step at a time. Those are baby steps beting assembled into a baby step ladder, allowing us to reach that door handle that nobody will open for us.

We must count each one of those steps as one. One whole step. Otherwise we risk trivialising, and falling down thinking we're further up than we really are.

The power is inside us. Each of us.

Win.

well in tough times you have to listen to you brain over your heart, you must never be satisfied always try your best to move forward. From what i understand you job is pretty "crap and you really need to change jobs, get a higher degree to try to get a higher wage to give you a better way of life. You are strong and as winston churchill famously said "if you are going through hell, keep going". i offer you my everlasting prayers.
