I Am Tired Of Being Poor

You'll struggle before you succeed. Taking this time off has really enhanced my ability to discipline myself. I cannot believe how irresponsible I was with my money when I was employed! Impulse shopping was a daily habit of mine. Now I've learned to pay only in cash and avoid places where I know I cannot afford anything. I'm upset at how I didn't save as intended while employed, but I've learned my lesson and will correct my behavior the next go round. It's not a bargain if you don't have the funds.

so true... one can easily take the money for granted. But one bad illness or loss of a job or similar life change event can throw things into a turmoil if you're not ready for it.

Thanks for the heart! I was forced into retirement on social security. It is certainly a very austere life. I'm just grateful for what I have.

@FUNBOY Thank you for leaving a comment. It may not be easy, but you'll learn to adapt. The fact that you're grateful instead of remorseful says a lot of positive things about your character.

Be glad you learned at a young age. Being poor is crap.

You are smart! Keep moving forward!
