I Am At One In A World Of Strange, Everything Is The Strange
Update from my last post.
I actually had a nice evening although as I mentioned earlier I couldn't get a word in but still it was a pleasant evening as this lady showed me some nice little knick kack places tucked away which I can shop in to get little presents when I fly most weekends..she also showed me a short cut route to my work.
It was funny as after coffee she said "shall I show u a nice Indian place" I said "oh yes please"...once there she said "let's eat here" so we went in. I said in my small voice I'm not that hungry but I'll have something small..."ohdon't worry" she said "I have a big appetite" which she lived upto as she practically ate everything while I nibbled on my chicken tikka馃槵. She even finished my left over wine 馃槂.
It was amusing and mildly entertaining to watch her chatter away ..I wouldn't say we will be best friends lol but I will see her again at some point for a girly chat. I can finally say after one year on this crazy island I now can call another human for support if my car breaks down 馃檹.
