I Am At One In A World Of Strange, Everything Is The Strange

Working away mon to fri in place far away from family I have no friends here and although it's been an year my work hours haven't allowed me to make any friends and as I fly back weekends I don't socialise with anyone locally here.

Anyway last week while I was doing my food shopping a woman asked me "what's that in your trolley" and once I replied she started speaking nonstop ..part of me thought oh great I might make a girly friend here but other part of me said god this woman can talk ! We ( she spoke 99% of the time ) for about 10 min and then she said "I tell you what let's meet for coffee and I can tell you all about this island !". Like an idiot I agreed but now I'm not sure as she talks way way too much... I have to meet her at 7 and I'm feeling anxious lol ..she's already text me twice lol.

All I want is some girly friends to giggle with not hours of long drawn one sided conversations. Perhaps I should be grateful someone has offered friendship to amother human ...don't know
