Do some of you fear homophobic attacks?

Are some of you afraid told hold hands with your partner in public or show any kind of love or affection in case it may provoke a negative reaction? I personally think that any violence is wrong to be honest.
Absolutely. I’m a very open person and I’m almost never afraid of doing what I want in public, but there are times and places my gf and I don’t hold hands in public. We’ve both had negative experiences with homophobia and neither one of want to deal with it if we can avoid it.

@KBby18 Please stay safe, and thank you for your very welcome reply.
No I don't but I also don't try no to put myself in danger.

I won't be silenced or denied by any homophobe, religious zealot, transphobe, ANTIFA, TERF, transmeds/transcum, the Trans TERFS, or any other faction of hate and misogyny!

I'm far to old to put up with their shit! Hatemongers.

@Elandra77 Lol I had to look up what some of those groups mean, transmeds is interesting because those homophobes are around A LOT even on here.
@SatanBurger They are. I'm not even sure those that are her KNOW they have a name.

The case of biologic vs legal is never ending. Not just her but all around.

However recent studies show that sex IS NOT BINARY--but rather on a spectrum. Thus shooting the argument of Biology down.

I'll stop but there is more.

Not at all. I think of nothing or my surroundings when I'm with her. Reaching for her hand is just a natural action. I'm fortunate enough to live in a very tolerant state.

Honestly if I were gay I might feel a bit hesitant to display it publicly. I think my neighbours were but they didn't really show it either.

Nope, but then other than the rare hand holding or peck on the cheek, my wife and I don't do a lot of pda.

I don't mind seeing hand holding or a quick kiss, but I don't want to be put in a position where I feel like I'm watching the filming of a porn flick - regardless of the genders of the participants.
