About assuming someones sexuality/gender again...

So it is about the question I ask before because I didn't explained it clearly. Okay so it's because someone who was a guy was being talked about liking another guy and I tell those people that we shouldn't assume that he's gay unless he says he is. And then this person told me sounding all annoyed, that why would I assume that he is a straight guy either? That's what makes me confused. Why are they getting mad at me for calling a guy "a guy"? When he is originally a guy in the first place?
Why keep branding others? Let them decide for themselves and it's perfectly fine to call a guy a guy, unless he wants to be called otherwise.

Mark my words....'unless HE wants to be called otherwise'

Let the rest GTH.

@fridayschild yeah, don't bother about those that try to bully you. You did the right thing. 🤗👍️
They want you to be with them, instead of having your own voice,
They really shouldn't get upset with you for calling a guy a guy, and your right they shouldn't assume he's gay, that's how a lot of problems start. Calling him a guy didn't say anything about his preferences of being straight or not. So I believe you have it right, they didn't want to seem stupid for saying anything and tried throwing it off on you.
