What is the acceptable age gap between partners?

ScrewThisImDone · 26-30, F
As long as both partners are of age, I don't see any problem with age gaps. Though I personally think it's weird when people have partners old enough to be their parents or grandparents.

One of my seven aunts married a guy 40 when she was 20.

That's the widest gap I ever knew. It lasted until the guy died.

But that was way back. They were married between 1945 and 1989.

She told me she never regretted it just before she died of leukemia in 1995.

She was kinda like my mother's best friend and an extra mom to us too. She never had any of her own kids.

Wasn't it half your age plus seven?
abe182 · 46-50, M
Half your age then add seven.

Before the age of 18 it's like 2 years. Around 24 it's 4 years. Around 30 it's still 4 years. Bwah I'm drunk.
Doesn't have any bearing on anything other than to incite those that can't accept someone else's choices.............
The age gap doesn't make one bit of difference. If two people want to be together, that's reason enough.
