MY ONE TRUE REGRET

i try not to have regrets. they tend to be depressing as you age. but my one true regret is that my late wife died not seeing all the progress we have made. she ad i could have really gotten married in us of a. what an incredible thing.i wish i could do that with her.

I have a similar regret...it's nearly impossible to let that one go. I do envy you a bit though...you believe you'll see her again and I can't do that.

@bijouxbroussard only 12 years. it took me a long time to find the person i felt i could wake up with every morning and not say "what did i get myself into" and then she got sick. but this song just tears me up as does the fact that before her death we were often considered less than human.
