My wife is scared of everything ?

This is my wife’s account she’s letting me use it. She has a fear of almost everything. She’s afraid of sharks because of Jaws. She watched Jaws when she was little it scared her she doesn’t like going to the beach she got over it for a while till we went to see 47 Meters Down then it scared her to death again to swim in the river. She’s scared of balloons she said some kid in school popped a balloon right in her face when she was younger she ran away and cried so balloons make her nervous. Even at almost 25 years old she’s still scared. She never has balloons at her birthday if she does she gives them to her cousins or friends. Kids were mean to her at school. She’s afraid of air planes because of 9/11. Also lots of her favorite country singers died in plane crashes. She’s scared of fireworks the loud noise scares her sometimes. But at least she’s getting over that. She’s afraid of the dark she’s had that problem since she was a kid she has a night light and we keep the hallway light on for a very good reason. She’s scared of bugs especially katydids. She’s scared of cars she said she’s never gonna drive. Because her school went to watch those texting and driving and drinking and driving shows at the community center on the last day of school she’s known some people who have died in car crashes. She’s scared of big dogs especially pit bulls. She’s scared to have kids she’s worried it’ll ruin our relationship but me and her have a special relationship I told her not even a kid is gonna ruin it but she watches 16 and pregnant and teen mom that kind of upsets her also lots of her friends who’ve had kids have been through it. She’s afraid of going to the movies after the Batman shooting which is one reason why she hates Batman. She’s even afraid to eat candy because of razor blade they found in chocolate last year. I never seen anyone with so many fears like she has. The only thing that doesn’t bother her is scary movies she can watch them. Why is she so scared of everything ? Is this normal and how can I help her ?
