spirituality is nothing more then the clasping of ones own restraints

Ok rain, I shall try. What your post seems to suggest is that living free without restraints is something spirituality isn't concerned with or is lacking in, whereas i'm reacting to that idea i'm seeing in that as seeing that a lack of spirituality as not only lacking an appealing nature, which would be the surface interpretation of my response, but also due to an unappealing quality would also suggest imbalance, ... spirituality as seen as a harmonizing inducer, being without that would suggest imbalance, to see and to experience imbalance, and not filtered through anything but just as it is, and imbalance perhaps isn't the ideal term for it, maybe a description, - at odds with what is. If one is finding themselves more vibrant when going against something, then maybe, but that would mean the what is is spiritual if spirituality is what is being gone from.

Spirituality might just be too vague, and arguments for and against it is too easy, in that the for and against are equivalent. If what was gone away from was more identifiable, say a specfic belief, then it would be too clear i guess, so it's fine as it is, for it is then a neutralizing personalized thing where whoever one is and how they respond or handle or whatever with it is indicative of where and how they are.

But is being spiritual or non spiritual an immediate indicator of anything? My point is no, it is not. And an ambivalence to one or the other rather is. ^_^
