I Watch "Mad Men"

I can't believe it's over. I cried during the final scene of the finale. Very overwhelming and yet a very appropriate finish. i love how Matthew Weiner left several cliffhangers in order for us, the viewers, to decide how we want it to end ba<x>sed on our love/hate of the characters.

It was an awesome ending to an awesome series, wasn't it?
How could you not love one of the most beautiful spots in the entire US (Big Sur) and it's Esalen Institute being prominently featured? In the end...perched atop a cliff at Esalen, Don had his epiphany... and the result was one of the most iconic TV commercials of all time. The real creator of that ad got his much-deserved 15 minutes on Monday morning and Coke said they had no idea the commercial was even gonna be in the finale! Craaaaaaazy, huh?

Some of the most brilliant writing (thanks to Matt) and acting (what a cast!) we won't see the likes of for a very, very long time to come.

If I may ask, when did you start watching MM? Assuming you're under 21, did you begin in your teens? Did the show have a large teen fanbase?

I enjoyed the early series very much but was disappointed by the final series. It just seemed to fade out implausibly. I mean, Don Draper meditating in a commune.......come on.
