I Enjoy the Company and Friendship of Women

I don't have any sisters, I have few friends because I was never allowed to be close to anyone outside of our house, when I lived with my Mother and stepdad.

At the refuge, I made two friends, one in the staff and one woman who had been beaten by her husband so she miscarried. These women were my salvation!

Women have always been my salvation too. We are all sisters. We have, throughout herstory supported each other. It makes me happy to know you have women friends that you cherish...there are far too many women out there who have NO women friends because they see other women as threats and competition, very sad. Friendship between women is quite different than friendships with men for he most part. Women understand each other
