Thanks turbineman40...a neighbor has expressed interest in me doing a floor in his basement for him.

@PTCdresser57 ask him, your neighbor, to go for a time and materials type payment job and not just a lump sum. To protect yourself, if the job has problems. Especially rotten wood under layment and possible rotten framing under the floor.

Get a contract in writing with both of one sign!! No hand shacks or verbal agreements

It would go on a cement floor turbineman40. I have done some other work for him before. That is the agreement...he pays for all materials...then I charge him for my time.
