Just don't get conned into buying one of those tiny room ACs... The physics don't make sense on those things. You need to make sure you get something with an exhaust port that exits the room. (IE. anything that exhausts hot air out the window)
You should not waste your money on anything that is marketed as a portable air cooler, or portable AC, and looks like this:
The only way this thing is cooling anything, is if you fill it with ice cubes every half hour. Otherwise it won't cool anything down, and it won't even stop the room temperature from rising.
