I Am Against All Forms Of Abuse
To all the people who stay in bad situations for their kid's sake:
The thing about kids is that they learn a lot more by what you do then by what you say - if they see you sitting in unhappiness and not doing anything about it, then they'll grow up and do the same thing. If they see you getting abused and just taking it, then they'll grow up and unconsciously seek out abusers to do the same thing to them, or they'll become abusers themselves and do the same thing to others. Maybe they'll rise above it and find a better way - but they'll do it DESPITE the childhood you gave them, not because of it. Do you want your kids to learn to endure unhappiness because it's easy and familiar, or do you want them to learn to seek happiness for themselves, even when it's hard and uncertain? Do you want your kids to live their whole lives in abusive dynamics, or do you want to give them a shot at an actual future?
