I Need a Miracle

Several of you have asked how my trip to the Mayo Clinic went. Thanks for asking. It was a good news/bad news situation.

I need a miracle.

I didn't qualify for the study because my disease (tumors) has not progressed enough (aren't large enough at this time) to be measurable. Currently I fall within their margin of error and they can't accurately measure my progress in the study. Being in the study is the only way to have access to new treatments for cancer. I am chemo-resistant, so the only treatments left for me are experimental, and the only way to gain access to those drugs is through a study.

My initial reaction to this news was positive, but after some discussion, I was told I should get my end-of-life things in order and that I was looking at 6 months... possibly a year.

I am pursuing one other lead on a study at another institution but so far have been told that if I don't have measurable disease, I won't be admitted to any study anywhere (which makes sense from a research perspective).

I need a miracle.

I've come to believe this cancer, caused by the BRCA1 gene mutation, will only be healed by a miracle.

I know I've been the beneficiary of so many miracles and I am so grateful.

Creator of all light,
I am in your arms.
I open to any and all miracles
I set aside all resistance, all doubt,
and ask to be completely healed.
Creator of all light, let it be so.[/c][/b]

Thank you all for your continued prayers.

Soft breezes to you.

Love, Wind

Remember when I stated that God spoke to my heart saying you would be okay and you experienced a "mini" miracle at that time? Well, I STILL believe you will be okay even with this hurdle. This is just a test of the emergency broadcast system, this is only a test. I know God hears our prayers. A quote from the Bible--"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." And also--

@Mguinm Oh, darling M... thank you for reminding me that God spoke straight to your heart. I so appreciate you and the Maestro praying for me. Bless you both and your love for each other.

@Windsylph You are such a sweetheart, thank you. I do believe that God is a giver of BIG miracles, not just small ones and we all must remain strong in our faith. I want everybody to be in awe of God's power and what He can do.

@Windsylph I also wanted to say that Joel Osteen's mother only had two weeks to live with her cancer and she believed for a miracle. This was back in 1981 and she's been cancer free. Here is the article---http://healingandrevival.com/testimonies/?p=367

@Windsylph Sorry for so many messages but I came across this quote now and I thought I'd post it--"Don't tell God how big the storm is, tell the storm how big your God is."
