I Had A Speedo Day

One day about 5 years ago while I was on a beach vacation I woke up and told myself I was going to wear nothing but a speedo all day. I had rented a condo on the beach. When I got up I slipped on an ice blue aussie bum swim brief. After I ate a lite breakfast I went down to the parking garage and got my beach umbrella and lounge out of the back of my car. I went out to the beach (up to this time I did have a t-shirt on) found a place for my things and set up in the sun. I jogged on the beach some, caught some waves, rented a bike and rode it, I found a stand selling lunch items, lay in the sun, read, people watched, and spent the entire day in my aussie bum. Did that ever help my tan line. Later in the evening around 6:00 or so I went up to the room, showed with the swim suite on to rinse it out, then grabbed a black turbo swim suite and put it on. I ordered a pizza I did slip on a pair of cargo shorts when the delivery person came. When I went to bed that night I slept on the Turbo's so I did have a full day in a speedo style swimwear and I really enjoyed it.

Re helping the tan line: I bought a pair of similarly short trunks claimed to be "Tan-through", made and mail-sold by Kiniki.

They are in a very fine mesh that supposedly lets the UV radiation in, while remaining opaque to the eye by virtue of the very small size of the holes, and the dark blue printing. Means I can be in the garden without risking offending or upsetting my neighbour by being nude as I have been when I know she is out!

@ArishMell I was telling you about us being landlocked, so I am sending a picture of a local lake, about a 20 minute drive from my home I can go to and yes speedos are worn here. I love taking one of those inflatable rafts out in the water and lying on it in the hot summer sun then slipping off into the water too cool off.

Very good! It looks a lovely spot.

MMMM interesting does Kiniki have a website where I might be able to purchase these? How about in the water how do they feel? Are there absolutely no tan lines? Do they have a draw string or elastic waist?

Kiniki does have a web-site. It is a British firm so I don't know how you would buy from it though, in America.

I've not actually worn them in the sea yet!

I bought them fairly late in the Summer and so far have only worn them in the garden. I've not really given them a fair test, but you would expect the waist-band and hems to leave narrow lines even if the rest of the fabric does as claimed. My test is unfair because I have also been nude outdoors.

They use a combination of elastic and draw-string.

@ArishMell I did some internet searches, the do have an American website but not near the selection the British have. I may have to check out a pair or 2. Have you ever purchased any Neptune Scepter? They are hot so tiny but oh so comfortable, They can be a bit pricey like $50 - $60 american $$ unless you catch them on sale for around $35.

I've not seen the Neptune brand, but I don't know if it's imported in Britain.

My tan-thro' ones are not ever so narrow, at about 2 inches at the sides, but fit well without being blatant. (Though I don't have much to excite anyone.)

Like shorts, trunks should be short!
