I Love the Experience Project

I want to tell you a secret, and hope that you will spread,
Its about this aging geezer I saw five years ago.
We met as EP veterans, I was called Uncfred.
We shared some similar friend there but never said hello.
Our paths they crossed quite often, on messages we left
to ladies we encountered and slowly got to know.

I often had misfortune to send a word in jest,
to find I’d met my match, outsmarted at me best.
Hi name on line was Degbeme, but Deggers he became
As we shared playful banter, and I gave him that name.
And to this day I envy his turn of word and thought,
His playful use of language, and off the cuff retort.

So all I ask the reader of my poor effort here,
Is enjoy this past master wherever he’ll appear.
Join me in paying homage to Canada’s man of mirth.
