Do you feel some people lack simple consciousness?

With all the people going crazy over such a simple thing. An election the media has really drummed up. This has me reconsidering my curiosity that those people who lack the ability to use common sense or logic just can't. Has anyone ever tried to present common sense logic and noticed a good percentage lack the ability to use their brain to reason with logic? It's as if simple word phrases are able to be comprehended but actually complex thought processes are completely absent.

I study consciousness in my spare time as I feel this is the most important thing in this life. The only thing we take from our lives is our experiences and consciousness.

I have been thinking also, about media manipulation. In many ways, the election has heightened the intensity of media wars that are ongoing in our nation. It's all about money for big tech and the media, but the upset and the hatred we feel at times is quite real...for us. Because whichever team we are on, we truly believe.

I, for one, am tired of being manipulated into high states of hatred and upset.

I heard something interesting. The internet is like the water, and the roads, and the lanes by which we travel. Can one company prevent another company from using the roads, which are public domain? Can they shut them off from water...which is the sustenance of business? Yes, apparently, they are trying it on for size. And only Congress can stop them from their mad power grab.

@4meAndyou I know what you mean. I have been watching this event unfold closely. I joined parler to get agn understanding of Trump supporters mindset and I joined many groups to watch Biden supporters on Facebook. I saw more violence from Biden supporters on Facebook than Trump supporters in parler. I now see Parler has been taken down and well it's all very interesting. A precedent is being set here and it will be interesting to see what the future holds.

I still look in awe at the ignorance of the whole situation. It's as if a massive number of people can't objectively think outside of TV and the society thought bubble boundary. You might find this interesting.

@Spiritseeker It is interesting, but the author is creating an elaborate theory where a more simplistic theory would do.

We know, for example, that about 68% of all people everywhere have an average intelligence range from 85 to 115. The average intelligence quotient of an American citizen is about 98.

We know that even among average humans, there are those who are damaged. DNA is not equal, nor is the soul or the spirit. So many factors come into play. Nutrition, education, focus of a parent's care, and a formal, moral education. Creativity is an enormous part of that.

One thing I DO enjoy about this man's theory is his theory that the soul exists on a quantum level...and many of us know about the God factor, (the pineal gland), in he human brain.

Most of the last bit here is pure speculation. It still makes me want to cry, because if any of it were true, it would be too sad for words. And I don't believe in Karma...but I do believe in ignorance.

I am still listening to him go on, but I think I have the gist.

@4meAndyou I agree I'm either way on it but found it interesting. The reason it appeals to me more is the duality of me and my sisters situation. We had almost exact experiences and on a soul level were connected yet. I had a deep sense of morality and she operated highly out of the ego and displayed a high sense of narcissistic behavior. I spent my life understanding her and working towards her understanding me yet she cannot. She is on a different plane of consciousness capability. It's not her intelligence, she's extremely intelligent and was raised just like me and her trauma was much less because she was the main trauma in my life and nobody was that towards her. It's as if nobody was home. She has over the years sensed something is off with me as I never reciprocated her egoic power struggle games so she became more inclined towards the spiritual mindset. My thought vs this authors claim is that my sister is an example of an autopilot ego waking up. I don't believe they are empty veil vessels, more that they haven't had enough depth to desire an awakening. This is in line with many esoteric pursuits that state we aren't gifted a soul, we earn them. This is also something Jesus was said to have stated that we have no soul we grow into our soul.

I feel we do earn our soul through transcending karma because of my direct experiences with previous life memories and my experience transcending this life karma.

I remember I was a deep thinker when I was in my late teens and early twenties, but there was no one to be deep with. I remember people thinking I was weird even for acting differently. So I learned to fit in. I wouldn't know how to think deep now..

One man, used to getting his way, can’t accept the fact that he lost an election and has to make up unfounded claims about a conspiracy where enemies [b]stole [/b] a victory from him.
Lack of consciousness and narcissism.
His supporters, without any proof of such claims, believe him to the point that they leave their homes and go attack the government, causing destruction, injuries and actual loss of life.
Lack of consciousness, delusion and gullibility, leading to criminality.
This isn’t typical.

@wildbill83 I get the impression it's all for distraction. I happen to know some very concerning science regarding our situation on this planet and things aren't looking good. I'm wondering of the situation we are facing is causing Govts to increase the drama to distract from reality. They are considering shortening the day 24 minutes because the earths rotation has unexpectedly increased in speed. That's just 1 small part that's recently being discussed. As a whole things are set up to get very squirley here soon. I believe this drama is a bait trap to disrupt the people easily triggered and to get to know who will be rebellious in the coming years.

They might have simple consciousness eating and sleeping and going "somewhere"...

but more than that...I'd say a minority of humans nurture human consciousness and a tiny minority of that meditate enough to know that ALL is consciousness and a few grieve at how consciousness gets RAPED by modern life... and modern monsters like predatory "democracy" and such lies...
