@Peaches: First time I went up there I still had long hair, second time was after I was already bald and shaving my head. Both times were through a bunch of small towns with a final stop in Portland. The dirty looks followed through the whole time. 🤷

@HoraceGreenley: Not necessarily a thing all cannabis consumers would even be aware of either. Lots of places where medical cards and dispensaries aren't a thing, not to mention circles of people who never even bothered with getting cards and dealing with dispensaries since(as Fernie mentioned in my comment thread) there are places where dispensaries are crazy expensive and not particularly worth it. But glad to shed a little light.

@bijouxbroussard: No, it doesn't make sense. It should be all set up in Mass but the powers that be don't want to follow through. People are really getting angry about it. Now the 28% tax instead of the original 12%...I will always buy it on the street. I really only buy it 2 or 3 times a year now...once it is up and running...the authorities will be hunting down the street folks because it'll cut into the profits...that was announced. I knew the second they started talking about legalizing it....it would turn into something ugly and capitalistic. Sorry for the rant.

@bijouxbroussard: Yeah, the whole "legal weed" thing, as in synthesized cannabinoid alternatives not actual legalized cannabis, have kind of made random dealers a bit of a minefield now. Those synthesized alternatives are really genuinely dangerous.
