Do you have friends with different religious views than yourself?

SW-User
Yes. Idc what a person believes. I'll respect them.
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@SW-User of course
curiosi · 61-69, F
I firmly believe that each is on their own path and mine is not the only way.
Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M
Yes, most of them.
SW-User
Yes. I don't know anyone with my exact beliefs, but even speaking more generally we all vary. I couldn't restrict myself to being friends only with people of the same religious persuasion.
Luchs · 51-55, M
Of course. It's never an issue because nobody forces their views or judges another if they don't share their beliefs . That's how grown-ups behave.
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@Luchs that's how grown ups should behave. Most don't
Yes. More friendly acquaintances than close friends.
Several friends are into the Vedantist mystical aspect of Hinduism.
Several are Jews, including my husband, but not believers.
Several are Buddhists from differing sects
One is a very open-minded and liberal Christian.

Dede, who is one of my closest friends, describes herself as a pantheist.
She values the Jungian archetypal interpretation of gods.
I know others who are into shamanism.

I'm an atheist. The majority of my closest friends are agnostics.
I used to. Like those with different political views, they all began to drift away or shut me out in today's environment.
