Want to know my pet peeves for the day?

"Good" friends who [i]refuse[/i] to forgive you after a tiff, and then suddenly call you...because they need to USE you and your shipping accounts for free two day shipping.

NEIGHBORS whom you never see who leave envelopes with money outside your door and want to USE you and your shipping accounts.

Neither one of them realize or care that it is inconvenient for me to make a special trip to the bank to deposit their cash or their check, and in one case, who knows when I will see that check? I had to wait more than a month for the last one, and I had hired someone to help me clean, and had to stop in mid-project to cover his purchases.

@Wol62 He is still my friend, but he was not going to forgive me before. He went a very long time without calling me. Then when he needed to save money by using my accounts, now he forgives me. It just hurts, I guess.

The selfishness of many never ceases to amaze me. I've had the same problem. I flat out said NO. They can't seem to grasp why they can't use me.

@Wraithorn I will do it one last time, but the anger is building up. Next time, I will write my neighbor a letter and send it back with her change and let her know that this is an inconvenience.

@bowman81 You're right. When I was on the phone with MAF he waited till the end of the call, and then let me know that he needed to order things. I felt like a little kid whose balloon had burst. I said to him, "Oh, I should have known that would be the only reason you would call." And then he tried to bully me, and said, "Oh, I figured you would say that," in a really angry voice. And then, at the end of the call he told me about all the food he is saving for me....my bribe, I suppose. I did want the frozen turkey...but geez. He sucked me in.
