Weird or not?

Is it strange that people pm you and want to be friends and speak to you without knowing whats behind the screen? Its just strange concept for me I guess. Do people actually speak to each other become friends on here without wanting to know whats behind the other screen? Just curious

I do not want to be judgemental and not speak to someone simply because I do not know how they look but I also find it scary if I am speaking to someone like a weird crrepy person

For me I think I can have genuine conversations without caring what's behind the screen but I guess with friendship I am curious of what's behind the screen.

Also yes it's very strange to me to come on here and talk to people in a way that I would never in real life :)

@TopCat Its just hard for me to speak to someone without knowing who I am speaking too like to carry on a conversation and build a friendship.

@JaneCas yep it's very hard but you do kinda find your way, my advice would be to set your limits and stick to them :) but at the same time don't be afraid to be yourself and do go for it :)

Yes. Here it may not be as frequent as other sites, yet it does happen. Sometimes they even try to actually help one another. :)

Online friendships are a fairly new concept. But sometimes I think they can be a true meeting of minds rather than the superficial.

@bijouxbroussard Yea your right. I just do not like to involve my time without knowing who someone is behind the screen. I guess I will use this platform for journaling and asking questions an not making friends.
