It's up to you on which job you want to take. It's only a $64 difference between both jobs because of the difference in pay. You might get a raise at the other job if you ask at the interview. What job are you looking for in the healthcare field? Because working as a laundry aide at a nursing home with $14. I'll definitely take any day. Pay cut is worth it for me any day.

@hanu00 i want to be either a medical assistant someday or go into sterile processing

@apersonnamedit Both are good fields in the medical field. Have you checked the other hospitals to see if they offer medical assistant training? If they do, I'm letting you know that the program might be 6 months, but they will hire you and work with you for 2 years to pay off the training. If not, there's always community college. I had a friend from college who studied medical assistant in Spanish class. I believe she got hired when she said she won't due to her age. Age is just a number. She got hired by the electrical company in that state. Her husband works there. So, that was a win-win for her.

Laundry doesn't have a bright future with advancement. Have you checked into classes to become a Certified Nurse's Assistant? That would give you much better advancement and earning potential. If you take the laundry job keep your eyes open. Sometimes places will pay for your training to move up.
