Oh yeah there was one who was constantly picking up the phone and calling the lead to cause trouble over trivial things that didn't effect the quality of the work and when we'd go to the office to check out she'd either drag in late to the last minute or hide her face behind a newspaper and peek over to look at me to see my face to detect my mood. She wanted to be in charge yet she would hide out quite a bit and not get her own work done. She also did the same thing to our lead...she told off on herself telling me about our evaluations and how unfair it was and I had a talk with the lead about that because she was getting into our private business. She ended up quitting less than 3 months before she could have taken her retirement accumulations (she would have needed to have been there for 5 years) so she lost a lot of money, she was scared summer work was going to be too hard for her, I got my part done and it wasn't that bad...saw her after I retired from that job and worked at a store, she came in and told me how hard I'd worked at the other job (her and a couple others later one)....I thought to myself "Yeah you had your knife to my back trying to make it even harder than it had to be...thanks a lot for that"

@ Meowsolini,I was chief deputy constable and young deputy was after my job and started going over all my reports and logs reporting to the constable behind my back

Yes, one of my best friend was a co-worker too, and we were in a perpetual competition with one another. Each of us sanctioned every other one's fault.

one guy lied to my boss saying a I left a box of stock for the shop outside the lockout round the corner....one week later he tells me he has new job and is leaving

Yes they were terminated from their position because the evidence was accurate

@ Hdryder - Yes. It just happened. I am a social worker and work with adults with developmental disabilities. I have an excellent rapport with both of my clients. One of my co workers is in constant battle with one of the clients and is therefore jealous that I am able to work so easily with him. She actually told my boss that I don't care about his finances because I allowed him two extra pieces of cheese on his sandwich!

The last job I was in, there was. She did that to everybody. 😒
