At least you know it’s still terminal. Just because a cancer patient is feeling better doesn’t always mean the cancer is better. It’s terminal like you said and it must of spread. Your mom is dying so there’s no point in hoping for a miracle when you know she’s dying. I know this sounds harsh and you don’t wanna hear this right know, but it’s the truth.
