On April 24, an 18-year-old student was shot and killed on campus at James Bowie High School in Arlington, Texas, allegedly by a 17-year-old student. The school was put on lockdown and students were later reunified with their families at a different location.

There are so many mass shootings these days that most of them don't even make the news. These folks have a complete list:

They've logged 36 in the month of April. Looks like their definition of a mass shooting is injuries+deaths>3; call it 4 or more casualties in the incident.

BTW, it's interesting to note that , firearms have been the leading cause of death for US children and teens since 2020, representing 19% of all deaths for children 18 years and younger in 2021.

There have been many recent mass shootings, just not many at schools.

They're not really news anymore. Americans hated peace.
