Are movies that are filmed in/about your town accurate?

I told him if we have children, we're going to add the months of pregnancy & breastfeeding and when I'm done he's going to be their primary caregiver

for the next months combined. After that we'll be even and do everything on the same level. So if I'm pregnant for 9 months and nurse for 6 months, he's going to do most of the work for the next 15 months.
