I do not know if it has definitely been found, but I would ask whether by chance (e.g. during cable-laying or a geological sea-bed survey) or deliberate search.

If the latter, why?

If her aeroplane is ever found definitely, it should be left undisturbed, its location not revealed, as Amelia Earhart's grave.

It didn't make too much of a ruckus though.

The is best forgotten, no doubt there's Decendants still alive, it's one of those un-solved mysteries.
