@Mattbennet While that may be accurate for modern rally racing it is not entirely true as Rally racing has existed since the early 1900's, long before the Mini came into existence. The first Monte Carlo Rally was held in 1911, long before the Mini existed, won by a 3 HP Peugot.

@saragoodtimes the original classic mini was actually the first professional rally car before the mini came out it was regular people driving family cars to A to B when the mini came out that’s when it became the rallying as we know it today
