Your cost for attending Sunburn Music Festival 2017 is largely dependent on when you make your bookings. I have split the cost down into three major buckets:
Tickets:
Sunburn did an “Early Bird” sale on May 27th this year where limited number of both general admission and VIP tickets were sold.
General Admission tickets were available for INR 7,250 (USD 113) and allow general access to the four days of the festival, as well as free access to a select few AfterDark parties.
VIP tickets cost INR 12,500 (USD 196) and allow for quicker entry to the festival, as well as an elevated viewing area of the stage.
The second “Early Bird” sale will happen on 15th of September and according to the Sunburn website should provide fans with a 20%+ saving. Viagogo, which is predominantly meant as the official ticket-buying platform for international visitors, is presently selling Early Bird General Admission tickets for USD 122 and VIP tickets for USD 210. You can therefore expect full-priced General Admissions tickets to be priced around INR 9,000 (USD 150).
Travel:
Sunburn 2017 will be held between December 27th and 30th which squarely falls in the peak tourist season for Goa with New Year revelers from across the world heading down here during that period. Even now, the 9th of September, the cheapest Mumbai-Goa return-flight ticket (inbound: 26th December, outbound: 31st December) would cost you about INR 9,500 (USD 145). This figure will only go up the closer you get to the event dates.
Accommodation:
For the reasons mentioned above, the accommodation rates in Goa would be severely inflated during the event duration. Sunburn will be held in Vagator in Goa which is ~4 Km from the touristy area of Anjuna. If you want to minimize your commute to the event you should stay in and around these two neighborhoods.
If you were to make a booking now, 9th September, you would find decent budget hotels priced at about INR 3,500 (USD 50) per night for this period.

To buy a ticket to see Ed Sheeran in London would be about £200 (12,000 pesos). Although the ticketing system is very dubiously run, and you can probably get them cheaper.

@Fantabulous: The British are a bit daft. We get stung on stuff like this and just accept it.
Fantabulous · 46-50, F
@GlassDog: at that price hardly anyone in our country would be able to afford to go
GlassDog · 46-50, M
@Fantabulous: Yeah, you wouldn't catch me paying that. The most I was willing to pay was £80 for a comedy thing, but that was second row from the front, and we saw three people we had a lifelong ambition of seeing.

Depends on who it is and where you are seated / standing etc. Ranges from the equivalent of $45 to $120.
Although the likes of Bieber, who is here now, some ticket prices were astronomical

somewhere between 600-800 norwegian kroner are common, so somewhere between 70-90 us dollars

@atalanta: So it is fair huh.

SW-User
@ThePhilanthropeOtaku: for an established artist like ariana grande i would say so, but for some unknown, not so much

SW-User
@atalanta: You go to concerts often? :o
marsbar · F
That's a lot for you isn't it? It's probably a little more expensive here in the States & Canada for her.

SW-User
@marsbar: Meh, it's a once in a lifetime event.

$1250

SW-User
@MrBrownstone: I'd say the price is fair.

@xCoinx: I have a few of their concerts on video. They do do good shows. And I love everyone of their songs.
xCoinx · 31-35, M
@MrBrownstone: They had this one bit where like on stage it was just like big sparklers and no lights you could just see the silhouettes of the band members rocking out.
The thing i like about their show is like there is so much going on on stage you will be watching one area and totally missing out on something happening on the other side of the stage.

Depends on the concert but normally about $100

SW-User
@xCoinx: So I guess the price is fair then.
xCoinx · 31-35, M
@ThePhilanthropeOtaku: Yea $84 dollars seems like a fair price
Jephy · 36-40, M
any where between 50-120 depending on the concert, or if you don't have the right connections (like a brother in law who's a roadie)

@GypsyKing: Woah, that's cheap.
It's been a while since I bought tickets. I remember the fees and taxes being ridiculous though.
