Gentlemen, here's a question for you: Do you ever want someone to be there for you instead of people assuming you always have to be the strong one?

Just wondered, as so many times it seems that others rely on men so much to always be there to pick up the pieces, to be strong for them etc...but do you ever need to have a break and want someone to do the same for you?

I personally don't see men as being stronger in anyway. Men are actually much more emotionally weaker then even women

@DidIHurtYourFeelings: Many times that may be the case but unfortunately society has made man to feel like he has to be the strong one etc.

@OWise1: I would definitely agree you on that one. But sadly men are not very often the ones for support. Usually they can't even figure out there own issues Because society does teach them that they are not supposed to have emotions and are to be the strong ones. As a woman and watching all the women in my family we usually never go to our husbands we bottle up any emotions or problems and fix them ourselves because I don't like what society tries to tell people. Though I would love to know the feeling of having a man I can run to lol

I think along these lines often, yes. But if there is no one else to stand in the gap in your stead, then you have to soldier on.
