I do..I tried to learn Japanese but gave up. Now I use it to learn Spanish. Funny experiment with Google Translate though. Try speaking totally racist Chinese into it and real words translate back. Its so fun.

Nope, I don't think it can help with learning ASL. I could be wrong, though.
