You ever met a women who can turn up on time?

The natural world is usually female. Mother earth, mother Russia, Britannia, Marianne. Whereas time is Old Father Time or the Grim Reaper. I think its gendered that way because the natural world gives life, and time takes it.

Time both gives and takes life,I think, but these are great thoughts

Technically I suppose it does, but I can't help but think of entropy and time's arrow.

I like glassdog's thoughtful interpretation. I viewed it as more concrete. When I think of space I think of man because in my experience he has always seemed to need more of it emotionally. Time feels more female to me as it seems to touch us more profoundly, physically and emotionally. This is just the view from my personal window, though, and may not seem sensible to you.

I understand it, although I have the opposite view, time as the male reaper, space as the female field.

Don't you have a more easy question today?? 😂
