I think you might be a bit confused. Love NEVER hurts. The LOSS of love hurts and is to be despised. Toughen up, probably it won't be the last time...don't let it jade you or reject love...

@Fernie Love does hurt... when it's one-sided, or even a little less strong for one than the other, or when your love is unkind, too far away, or for other reasons...

@InShadows it is not love that is painful...it's how we use it in our lives. Most of us have no clue what love is until we go through painful relationships and hopefully at some point SEE why they were painful. Pure love, real love never hurts...we act the fools and cause the pain we feel...love doesn't do that
