@DidIHurtYourFeelings: I quite understand. I've been through exactly that. You're right. It's not about the presents at all. It was the lack of thought behind them, yet actions speak louder than words. Through those gifts, or lack thereof, however, they let you know exactly what they thought of you. What small minded people. They don't even deserve a second thought, yet it does hurt. Next time you know where to get their gifts. At the Dollar Store, and I'm not kidding. You don't reward bad behavior.

Very true. Next year I won't be doing Christmas. Every year I cook for all of my husband's family and my own. We are a large family and I never ask for anything. I'm ready to stop being so giving and loving
