Both my sons do a fair amount of gaming, and they both use wired mice. Wireless mice have communications lags and can fail at very inopportune times. One son has a ReDragon Griffin; the other a Razer Deathadder. Apparently gaming mice need scary names!! You should also have a good quality LARGE mouse pad.
