anyone that asks you " are you gonna eat that?" let them have it.

When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.

The Trust thing? Yep, totally.....

The Drama and Toxic thing? No. I tend to say that to most people (granted, not in the first 5 minutes....maybe...10?!?) as I've had too many people in my life like that. I set my agenda. They act like drama queens or slag people off...and I'm gone.

Simple!

What about if someone tells you "the last thing I would want to do is hurt you" after you've known them for over 5 years Online and they do just that :(
DragonBlue · 80-89, F
@solitaire whenever anyone begins a sentence with a warning, I am prepared to hear them out and say, “yeah, thanks” and walk away. People like that CANNOT hurt my feelings. They can only disgust me. And drive me away.
Anybody who says that does not understand or honor the concept of trust, so it's entirely meaningless.

I hate nice people
Coppercoil · M
@Carlisle I don't like causing drama, but trust me, nice people are the worst.

This post reminds me of something I read years ago, I forget how it went?🤔Something like, "harm no one, trust few, and take nothing." I'm somewhat of a social butterfly and like most people....until they give me a reason not to.😎🦋✌️

Yep and it doesn't have to be within five minutes either. Projection is real.
solitaire · 41-45, F
It can be after knowing someone for many years also!! The ones who say they'll never hurt you or never do this or that or blah blah are the ones who usually do@SW-User

@solitaire That is right on! "Never" is BS. Words can be empty and cheap.
I never trust anyone that says “trust me” period.
ButterRobot · 51-55, M
@AwakeningConfession221122 my theory is they are prematurely defending themselves.
@ButterRobot they sure are.
iamelijah · 26-30, M
Then, to whom we should trust?
ButterRobot · 51-55, M
@iamelijah in my experience, someone that doesn't tell you to in the first 5 mins.
solitaire · 41-45, F
@ButterRobot Not 5 mins. It can be 5 years also. I wouldn't put a time stamp on it
DragonBlue · 80-89, F
If someone says “No offence, but…..”. You know you’re about to be offended.
PoizonApple · 41-45, F
You learn all you need to know in the first 5 mins
ButterRobot · 51-55, M
@PoizonApple i hope not...im hard to know after a year.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
Here's the best one. Ready?
"I don't want to fight with you".
