Yes, I have known people like that.
There’s always that one jerk who has to make everything a bigger hassle than it should be.

@SmartKat This chick went through the back room ,where I was working, saying very loudly "I hardly like anyone here"
I thought,
"That is fine with me"

Most normal people do not enjoy conflict, so too often they reward bad behavior with appeasement. Then they end up with a nasty tiger by the tail.

@Mamapolo2016 I find they leave you alone if you don't get involved.I like peace.

Lots of cowards and **** kissers out there. So, yes. It does tend to happen when the person is perceived as moody and unpredictable

@Miram I have a relative who's a narcissist so, I think I just had some life training and new enough not to play the game

Same, those family experiences can be really useful in life.
On the one hand I don't let people play on my emotions or intimidate me because I had to survive psychopathic parent.
On the other day, due to my anger issues, I have to be extra self aware of not wronging people and manipulating them. Because it is how I want to be treated, right. No games and complete honesty.
I often see people play the victim and wonder how they can't see through it. Sometimes through their own act. I think some of them have no clue they are doing because they grew up/were raised in a context where it was treated as normal.

I usually ignore them
They do this because they enjoy drama and the attention it brings ..I don't react ..I don't give them what they want ...

sounds more like psychopathic sort of behaviour..
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@ButterRobot I just know that they acted terrible and most spent part of the day trying to appease her so they wouldn't get on her bad side. I just ignored her and did my job
ButterRobot · 51-55, M
@Justmeraeagain maybe..that sort of manipulative crap is the calling card of a psycho, but lots of other pathologies too.
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@ButterRobot I didn't play the game I had experience with a narcissist for a long time
