For basically media playing like music and movies, I'd recommend Samsung tablet as you are able to download, add a SD card for more memory and also installed show box and kodi which allows you to watch alsorts of films, and series. Music media, radio downloads and more apps than you can handle.

I am a Samsung guy so that's my preference. Why Itunes....there are so many more ways to get music free.

If Itunes matter, the format of your current iTunes library matters - or at least it used to. I don't think you can dump PC-formatted iTunes onto an apple device or vice-versa. That may not be accurate any more?

Personally if u want to do a lot like business or just social I would recommend an iPad
