I just purchased a small crossover SUV and I didn't realize how much my car insurance would go up. I might have to work a second job to pay for my car insurance. 😟

I think there was a rule for ...uber or lyft.. maybe both that you could charge a premium and be an 'elite' driver so they kinda pushed many drivers to get bigger, more expensive cars, then covid hit travel pretty hard. I expect most of those drivers have to shift to a couple delivery gigs to not lose their cars.

I know a lot of people who do it as a hobby that pays on the side. If you are going to fill empty time with something, why not something that pays and requires little effort?

I think you’re underestimate the market..i also have a friend who has a courier service (nothing big,two ford transits and a personal car) let’s just say that sometimes,he delivers controversial cargo as well. Mostly between Montreal and Toronto

Delivering groceries is probably their second job
