I'm inclined to answer yes, but I'm sure there are people who do a better job at making conversation and keeping in touch than how I've been in this current season of my life.

Yes, though I find it difficult to take a lead of conversations. I do contribute, but don't often progress them when the other person goes quiet.

I certainly try. Life has taken us in different directions, and were not as available for each other, but still just as loyal.
