Taste at first, then the buzz

@SW-User I enjoyed Kahlua, Bailey’s and Godiva’s taste. But they have a ton of sugar along with the alcohol.

@bijouxbroussard yeah it might be true for cocktails too but I think alcohol works on the brain like any other drug does. Interprets it as good. Coke tastes horribly bitter for example .it drips down on your throat and makes your nose bleed yet people keep licking the bags and love the gasoline aroma as well because their brain tells them it’s good

I'm an alcoholic-I always drank for the affect.Even when pretending to know about the nuances of fine wines and craft beer,it was always to guzzle when no one was watching.

For the calming effect. And the bulk of my poems were written while drinking so if nothing else atleast alcohol gave them to me.. Been sober awhile now.

The effects. That isn't to say I never like the taste, but the taste is never my motivation for drinking.

taste any more because the buzz makes me feel tired. I like a Bloody Mary with little or no alcohol for example.

I don’t drink, but back when I did it was for the buzz.
@BackyardShaman A good indication of whether you are an alcoholic or not, is if you buy a drink but don’t like it—you drink it anyway, just not to waste your money.

Of course as a pain reliever. But I buy the sweeter stuff for preference.
The taste. When I indulge I usually only have one or two and I'm content.
