Complicated. If life were simple, everyone would be fine in their situation and probably wouldn't strive to improve. As a society, we'd become content with being mediocre because everything would be so simple. When things are complicated, we work hard and we want to do well and be the best. The kinks and twists and obstacles are what keeps us using our brains and developing as people.

Inherently it is interconnected, and there are all types of psyches that thrive in it, and likewise all kinds who struggle.

So the answer is that either and both are possible.

Little can be simple in its own complexity, yet much can be complex in its own simplicity.

I'd say that life is simply complicated. It may sound oxymoron, but I don't think it is. Maybe at my time in life that's how I see things. I could say life's as complicated as I make it, but I know that is not true. 'Simply' complicated because it seems that too many nit-picking issues are going on in my life at the moment over simple issues which seem to complicate my life right now.

I have NO idea if that makes any sense to you .. LOL

life is simple.. you live and you die.... all the other stuff in between then is the complications WE add... :-)

It's all in one and the mental state decides the experience altogether.
