More times than I can count -_- the most common thing I do is just leave it in the ATM and walk away because I'm absent-minded

Yes, I put it in a machine in Germany, did not see any option to choose a language, and then this light kept flashing and there was this German writing I did not know how to read. And then finally the machine swallowed my card and kept it!
Huge huge bummer. I found out that is what happens if you don't take your card back--they swallow it to keep someeone from stealing it. Luckily my husband also had a card, so we were still able to withdraw money.
Now I know better.

3 times in a month, once. Hahah.

I thought I did yesterday then stupidly transferred about £90 to my other account as it was the card I could see. Idiot me, put the card in a different place... I'm a creature of habit!
