I'm an artist with a degree in Applied Physics. Do I count?

There's a tough choice.

My working life and default is to research, use facts to base decisions and to have plans be organised etc. Very logical very scientific.

However my passion is music and I've always written music I can't see point of just playing other people's stuff. So I'm a creative artist in that.

I'm lucky to have had both in my life.

An artist can be many things and I love to draw, paint and I come from 8 generations of singers, songwriters and musicians so I say "artist"

I initially thought artist, but a scientist is also an artist in many ways, perhaps using numbers more.

Scientists have abandoned science in favour of science fiction. Fiction writing is art.

Actually had to choose between graphic designer and marine biologist.
Wish I'd chosen the latter.
I miss the sea, most city artists and designers are wankers.
Science is world definable laws with almost unlimited possibilities.
Plus, right now - the sea is going to be a huge part of our future - it woukd have been a more useful occupation.
