A watch maybe or perfume.. doesn't need to be expensive at all .. as long as it matches my style .. I'd prefer perfume that does not have a very strong scent (and since spring and summer are around the corner, a perfume with a light odor would do great) .. as for a watch, something that matches my lifestyle, my clothes, I generally match my shoes, my watch and my hat, but it depends not every guy's the same..
or maybe a wallet, a scarf that has your perfume on it, a special mug that has your photo together and looks like a normal mug, but when you pour in some hot water, your picture will show, a keychain that has your names on it in the shape of a heart, a stainless steel bracelet that has something engraved on it, I still have one from 2010 from an ex lol... a picture of both of you made into a puzzle .. you can even get a little carton box, put some chocolates inside with little gifts, a coffee mug that has I love you on it, a small teddy bear, a scarf(perfume on it and on the teddy too lol), a keychain a photo of both of you, a little letter maybe? (not a newspaper paragraph, unless he's so into reading) (perfume the envelop from the inside)

Best of luck and happy valentines day!

I like when my girl gets me hand moisturiser. I always use it then throw it away before replacing it. So that's her thing for me...

If you're looking for ideas for someone specific, then I don't really have a good answer. Can only speak for myself and I'm probably a bit of an anomaly; I know I would much rather gifts not be a part of it. Time is what I want.

If I absolutely had to give an answer, eating together at my/our favorite restaurant. It still counts as time together, and doing something that hopefully both of us would enjoy.
